We Need Your Help ๐ŸŒˆ

Real talk โ€” we need you. Out and Proud of Grays Harbor has been putting on the Pride Festival for over a decade now. Twelve years of music, community, drag, vendors, and a whole lot of love in a corner of Washington that doesn’t always make it easy to be yourself. That’s something worth protecting.

But here’s the thing: a festival like this doesn’t just happen. It takes a team. And right now, our Pride Committee needs new people to step up and help make sure year thirteen actually happens.

We’re Looking For You

We need volunteers who want to be part of something bigger โ€” people who are organized, or want to get better at it. You don’t need a fancy resume. If you’ve ever planned a party, wrangled a group chat, or just care deeply about this community, you already have skills we can use.

And if you want to learn event planning, nonprofit operations, grant writing, marketing, or vendor coordination? This is hands-on experience you literally can’t get anywhere else around here.

What You’ll Actually Get Out of This

  • Real project management experience with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
  • A voice in shaping one of the only LGBTQ+ events on the Harbor
  • Skills in fundraising, event logistics, community outreach, and more
  • A team that has your back and wants to see you grow

What We Need From You

  • Some time, some energy, and a willingness to learn
  • An email to volunteer@ghpride.love by March 24th

That’s it. Just reach out. Tell us a little about yourself and what interests you.

This Festival Belongs to All of Us

But it only keeps going if people show up โ€” not just in September, but right now. ๐Ÿ’œ

Share this post. Tag someone who’d be great. Send that email. Let’s keep this thing alive.
